ENDLESS

Following on from the sublime debut EP from All Is Well, Luca Bacchetti is proud to present Eduardo De LA Calle’s ‘Sanskrit Vèda’ EP as the Madrid-born artists drops a scintillating three-track EP of hypnotic techno on the ENDLESS imprint.
The artist who has issued music on Cadenza, Mule and his own label Analog Solutions, created the ‘Sanskrit Veda’ EP while producing from his ashram home set among the mountainous area of Malaga. Little surprise the tracks should take on a particular transcendental vibe, as Eduardo spins gloriously otherworldly techno across four timeless creations.
‘Downwards to Vasudeva’ is eye-rolling bliss, the kind of cut that’s tailor-made for lose-yourself dancefloor sessions in a warehouse setting, the undulating acid-tinged synths creating a glorious wall of sound. ‘On The Maya Hands’ heightens the pleasure senses with delicious creeping melodies coating a pitter patter of drums, while metallic synth stabs dance add mid-range layered effect. ‘Narada Das’ is bubbling dream-like techno, suspended atmosphere and a touch of African flavor. The EP is round out with ‘Desiree’, which is seven minutes of organic grooves and soothing elongated synth notes to brings the listener back to earth after the heady heights of its predecessors.
"Eduardo De La Calle is an incredible find. Of course I already knew his work, but in the last two years I have grown to love his sound. He is very sensitive both as a producer and above all as a human being. This sensitivity permeates his music with its singular atmospheres. The music, just like him, is special. He will be release a four-track EP out on Endless in the autumn. The whole EP is a masterpiece! ‘Narada Das’ is an ENDLESS journey, pure bliss! - Luca Bacchetti

ENDLESS PODCAST #5 Eduardo De La Calle

ENDLESS PODCAST #4 - All Is Well

Who’s All IS WELL ?

All is Well is a secret project behind which there is a famous producer. We know his work and are very proud to have him on board! can you at least give us a clue?
AIW: No!!
I gather that AIW is to do with exploring a new sound … is it necessary to forget who we really are in order to find a different aspect of ourselves? An aspect which also represents us but which maybe has been left unexplored until now.
AIW:  Sometimes we go with what think people expect from us and build creative barriers when it’s in fact our own barriers we created. A new name is like wearing a mask at a party, acting a different way and observing the reactions.
What are you putting out there and playing at the moment, which production do you think are fresh, up to the minute.. significant for the times we are living in?
AIW:  A little too much music out at the moment that is a little empty of meaning. I’m looking for things that will endure the test of time. I haven’t played out as All Is Well yet so, who knows how it will be.
when’s the last time you bought an album, and what was it?
AIW:  All the time! I love albums. They are like a full books, while eps are just short stories.
How did you discover ENDLESS? How did you meet Luca?
AIW:  I met Luca at a gig we played together. That’s also how I was introduced to Endless. I also have another friend who released on the label. That’s all you need to know.
What does the word ENDLESS meant for you?
AIW:  Timeless. Present. No beginning. No Ending.
Your ideal party? Club, outdoor, festival .. what size do you prefer and where do you feel you can really express yourself to the utmost?
AIW:  Small clubs for the intimate experience, outdoor events are also great for a more organic experience.
What rocks your world? what are your passions?
AIW:  Life, movies, food, friends…music.
What do you love and what do you hate about your job?
AIW:  I love the music. I hate the politics.
If one day you became a very important politician, what would be your motto?
AIW:  Politics & Religions. I try to stay away from them.

All Is Well "Hope All Is Well EP" ENDLESS 007

image

Following on from label head Luca Bacchetti’s exquisite ‘OVO’ EP, ENDLESS is proud to present the debut release from All Is Well – a brand new project from a revered veteran who for now will go unnamed…

All Is Well is a new project from an experienced hand in the music industry, with a back catalogue stretching back two decades. But with such an established position – arguably – comes creative restraints. Being able to take a step back, assess and approach a new project with no guidelines, boundaries or stress is refreshing for an artist. For those well known, the ability to create and release a project under a new name can also be hugely liberating.

"Sometimes we go with what we think people expect from us and then profess to be held back by creative barriers, when in fact these barriers are always creations of our own. A new name is like wearing a mask to a party, acting a different way and observing the reactions." – All Is Well

And so comes the ‘Hope All Is Well’ EP, a sublime three tracker that continues ENDLESS’ short history of releasing music that encapsulates an otherworldly beauty. The title track is a smooth deep dancefloor cut driven by a catchy chord pattern and crisp beats, while ‘Vabene’ encapsulates a rare exquisiteness with it’s chugging bassline and evocative melodic keys and already has a special place in clubbers’ hearts and minds after it was the opening track of Luca’s lauded set at Sunday Debauchery in NYC in June – a set he rates at the finest of the year so far.

The EP is rounded out with the outstanding ‘La Valse De La Pertinence’ that’s led by a call-and-response dual bass and key melody that drives the cut, making it simultaneously groove-ridden and sublime and spacey.

Luca Bacchetti "OVO" EP - ENDLESS

OVO

By now we have become used to sudden changes of direction; but we’d already gathered his real intentions following the popular remix of “Lonely Stars In Open Skies” on All Day I Dream with which Luca jump started 2014.

Now OVO, the eagerly awaited new Luca Bacchetti EP, is here!

With this work on his ENDLESS imprint, Luca seems to be delineating a new soundscape, maintaining the psychedelia he introduced into his productions a few years ago; but now more synthetic and in some ways even minimalist.

image

In OVO we can find a brace of dancefloor tracks, No Gravity and The Space Between Us, that maintain and harness Luca’s emotional and intricate atmospheres whilst also employing powerful sounds and elements that embrace the movement of the body.  Mature, emotional Techno, where ethereal dream-like atmospheres find a singular expression and their own distinct identity. It is no coincidence that the whole EP was recorded entirely high up in the Tosco Emiliano Apennines: a place where, for Luca, Nature is the element that most influences this new aural pathway. As he himself states: “It’s this contrast between isolated lands and the chaos of the big city that produces this state of being: a new dialogue. They are two worlds which overlap within my soul: when I’m in New York I think of these mountains and when I’m here I think of the bustle of tour life .. but it’s up here that I find the seed, in this case OVO.”

The beautiful ambient masterpiece, OVO, was recorded in December 2013 and features Stefano Onorati, jazz musician and long time friend of Luca. The 15 minute opus was then finished in April 2014 and now sees its unveiling.
